The Next Step in Speech and Language Therapy

Raaga is my brainchild, born out of my vision to provide rehabilitation holistically, rather than focusing on just one entity. I am a speech-language pathologist practicing over 16 years, working with pediatric and adult population. My area of expertise is in various speech and language disorders. I worked mainly in the areas of Autism/other pervasive developmental disorders, articulation and phonology, learning disability, motor speech disorders, etc.

 I am currently a PhD Research scholar at the All-India Institute of Speech and Hearing, AIISH, Mysuru.  I graduated in 2006 from Institute for communicative and cognitive neurosciences. Since then, my clinical and research expertise in this field has contributed to developing an approach to rehabilitation, with a combination of methods focusing on sensory-perceptual, motor and communication, which helps treat language disorders. ‘Early identification’ is the magic word in which I believe. I also focus on the opportunities and environment which could be provided for young adults with autism spectrum disorder to face new challenges, responsibilities, and to explore opportunities.

Raaga, has two branches, one in Thrissur Kerala and the other in Garhoud, Dubai. We are a multidisciplinary team with speech pathologists, psychologists, occupational therapists and Special educators. I hope to provide with the opportunities to improve cognitive-communication skills to achieve goals and better identify with one’s skills and abilities.

I believe in approaching every client with compassion and empathy and leaving room for openness and transformation as required which may evolve with time. I am consistently constructing and modifying functional, individualized goals that best serve my clients because “there is not a one-size-that fits all”.
